The
Tea Rose Chapter received their charter at the Annual Council Meeting in
March 2006 and was the second chapter started in the state of Idaho.
The Chapter meets in the day time and serves the needs of young mothers
and older ladies who find it difficult to get out in the evenings. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at members' homes.
Tea Rose meetings are often used for members to share their knitting and
sewing skills with each other, and several ladies have now learnt to knit!
The Chapter's main fundraising event is taking a table at a local Christmas
Bazaar, where they sell cookie and scone mixes in jars and hand
knitted tea cozies and other items.
